International freight forwarding company, Brisk Global Logistics, have chosen Athernet Solutions to develop their new website.
The site, due for launch later this year, will provide Brisk's clients with the ability to login and receive quotations for different consignments. Once they have containers in transit they will be able to review their delivery progress through an online system.
Brisk's General Manager Phil Ludley identified that a revamp to the company's website was crucial "...the general opinion was that our current site looked dated and did not portray the correct image for the company, basically it needed to be brought up to the 21st Century.
"Being an International Freight Forwarder a lot of our clients and suppliers can collect or request information via our website, this is particularly helpful for those who are on completely different time scales than ourselves - they will have the ability to request a quotation, send a booking for example outside of our normal working hours. The structure and login procedures in our old site did not encourage people to move from one page to the next - the whole site needed to be revamped.
"Three companies were requested to submit a quotation and proposal to construct our new site, all of whom where recommended to us by either one our clients or a supplier. Of these three specialist web development companies we found that Athernet Solutions was most suited to our needs and in addition they had a very competative pricing structure. Examples of their previous work was impressive and initial consultations were dealt with in a professional but relaxed manner. The proposal received from Athernet covered all points raised (and more) which confirmed to ourselves that they had fully understood our requirements."
Pages of the new website will be fully updateable through Athernet Solutions' updateability system, a product that the web development company created to allow it's clients to quickly and easily maintain their websites.
