North West small e-commerce firms should develop their online marketing strategy in order to increase website traffic and sales.

This gives firms the opportunity to interact with their e-commerce customers, promoting their brand and driving more traffic to the website.
In order to make sure the online marketing tools turn visitors into business, firms need to constantly monitor progress on their e-commerce website.
A recent poll conducted by Practical eCommerce revealed that 95 per cent of e-commerce merchants think that search engine optimisation (SEO) is important to their business.
