Businesses in Lancashire can learn more about online marketing courses thanks to the launch of a new directory.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has revealed that its new Learning and Development Directory of Courses 2010 outlines the suite of workshops and short courses that the organisation offers.
More than 14 new titles have been introduced to the body's portfolio, taking the total number on offer to 120.
The range of options available to businesses includes foundation courses in a range of areas, as well as training for more experienced individuals.
David Thorp, director of research and professional development at the CIM, said it is vital in a "constantly evolving profession" to keep marketing skills and knowledge up-to-date.
He added: "Our new set of training programmes gives marketers the chance to keep pace with the very latest developments from SEO marketing and Digital Marketing, right through to Market and Sales Forecasting."
News of the launch of the portfolio has come after Mark Thomson, media director at Royal Mail, told Marketing Week that firms should launch complementary promotions based on both online and offline channels.
